All About Me

​

I have been teaching ever since I was 5 years old. Back then my classroom was the chalkboard in my backyard, and my students were very quiet and well behaved! After growing up in Moraga, CA and graduating from Campolindo High School, I moved to Seattle, WA to attend Seattle Pacific University. From there, I graduated with a BA in psychology and an elementary teaching credential. After college, I moved back to the Bay Area, but left my heart in Seattle (and still miss the rain)! I then began looking for a full time classroom teacher position while substitute teaching throughout the Oakland Public School District. I finally settled down to substitute teach full time at Redwood Heights Elementary School in Oakland. For 4 years I got to teach kindergarten at Corpus Christi School. I am now very excited to have graduated up to 1st grade at Queen of All Saints!

When I am not teaching, my favorite things to do are to read, bake, garden, eat strawberries, drink tea, and go to Giants baseball games with my husband!
